Our Mares
Francesca XVI

Francesca XVI

2016 dark bay mare. This lovely mare is unbelievably calm and gentle and has not met a stranger yet! Great pedigree with her great grandfather being Gitano's father and another great grandfather being Centauro XIII.

Inquieta

Inquieta de Maria

Inquieta de Maria is a darling pure Spanish filly that I purchased from long time breeder Terrye Waechter when she was suffering with cancer. From Spanish imports, by the Ancce Qualified Stallion, Fugitivo XII and out of Beliza de Fraile. Inquieta's grandsire is Utebo II, Qualified Stallion who was National Champion of Spain at Sicab in 2003. Those of us that attend IALHA National Shows will recall the riveting Fugitivo who was IALHA Grand Champion stallion. Inquieta is another pasture pet that is typically the first up to the fence when she sees a human. Two of my 3 boarders have expressed that they want her and are in love with her. But so am I!

Gentileza

Gentileza

Gentileza was born here on April 10, 2002. At her ripe old age of 20, she is in foal to her customary "date" or Gitano as their combination produces tall and gorgeous. Gentileza's sire is the unforgetable Remate (see our stallion page as reference) by National Champion of Spain, Jugueton V who was by Valido. I bought Genti's dam in Mexico and Valente showed her under saddle before she became a broodmare.

Osada MCA

Osada MCA

2011 bay mare. This gorgeous mare is breathtaking with big movement and her swan neck and stunning face! Her golden bay color sheens. She covers so much ground and flies off the ground when she moves with a rare grace. Tender personality is so endearing that I loved her the minute she arrived.

Otamisia H

Otamisia H

2010 black mare. Otamisia, whose name means "perfection" is dna confirmed black as Eeaagg. Ota has an allstar pedigree being the full sister of National Champion, Niza, the daughter of 3 times National Champion, Gitano Mor, and granddaughter of Hereje who was a National Champion at age 2 per Judge Juan Llamas.

Prisca H

Prisca H

2010 gray mare. Prisca is poetry in motion and one of my best ever movers. The judge from Spain agreed when he awarded Prisca with the Best Movement medal in the 3 and under PRE fillies class at IALHA nationals.

Vendexa

Vendexa

2017 Grey mare. What a gift that the sale of this filly fell through when she was a baby! I am not always able to keep a foal every year, but it was essential to my breeding program to keep a Destinada filly as Destinada reaches her breeding years "maturity". Or as she gets old, like me, is the easier way to say it!
