Hereje TG (3/12/92)

(Hacendoso IX x Belina TG)

IALHA 2182S

Codigo 21EU306

Of all of the horses on our farm, each one of whom I love so passionately, Hereje is my ultimate soulmate. Imported from Mexico as a youngster, he is a pure Bocado stallion, and possesses all of the qualities which make the Andalusian one of the most sought after horses in the world. In spite of the fact that Hereje is a mature and active breeding stallion, he is so gentle that I turn him out with the weanlings in a large pasture to play on a regular basis. Hereje is PRE - revised.

$1,500 Andalusians

$800 non-Andalusian mares

 Remate

(Jugueton V x Deseada)

IALHA: 1322S

Codigo: 22EU126

Words cannot describe how thrilled I am to announce that the great Remate has joined our stallion herd. He was the National Champion stallion at the first IALHA Nationals that I ever attended in 1993. The image of him making his victory lap in all his splendor remains etched in my memory as my romantic ideal of what an Andalusian stallion should be. He went on to become National Champion Driving Horse in 1995, and National Champion Best Movement in 1997. He has sired several National Champions, including Senor K, the winner of the 1999 IALHA 3 year old futurity, Galisteo H, 2005 IALHA national champion pre 3 year old, Hermosura H, 2005 IALHA national champion 2 and under psp filly, Destinada DD, 2005 IALHA national champion 2 and under pre filly and Hipolita, 2004 IALHA reserve national champion yearling pre filly..

2004 and 2005 IALHA Reserve National Champion Get of Sire.

Pinturero

(Cortesano x Pinturera XI)

(3/23/91)

IALHA: 4158S

Codigo: 2002850

If you want to fall in love, come and meet Pinturero! A striking silver stallion who was imported from Spain, Pinturero was bred by the famous Urquijo stud, which is no longer in existance. He possesses the size, presence, and temperament which are well-suited to a number of American mares. In addition, his lineage is rare in this country, providing an excellent opportunity to outcross and expand your gene pool. Huge bone, excellent temperament, and a color producer.

Pinturero has returned to Mexico, however, we do have frozen semen available.

Galisteo H

IALHA No. 6348S

Codigo number: 23 EU207

2/26/02 pure spanish, revised grey stallion by Remate x Ibiza. When I dreamed of a Remate son to replace the old man some day, I couldn't have ordered a more perfect specimen than Galisteo. Looking like he'll be over 16.2 hands, he has never had an unbalanced or geeky stage. So upright and moves so much like his father. I know he is Remate's special gift to me and a special, special soul.

2005 IALHA National Champion PRE 3 year old and top 5, 2005 IALHA National Futurity, top 5, IALHA pre stallions aged 4, 5 and 6. . Galisteo's first foal out of Flama (a grey) was bay so we know heÕll produce color! He is in training with Molly Gengenbach and lives with her about an hour away so is being bred on very limited basis.

Live cover only: Andalusian mares: $2,000

Chulo H

IALHA 7902SP

2/22/04

Black PSP colt and my oldest son of Gitano Mor and out of Marisma (Dehesa x Fariseo). Chulo, was suitably named meaning "sweetheart" and looks as though will finish not only darker, but taller than his 16.2H sire.

On his first outing to a show, he was crowned National Champion PSP 2 and under colt at 2006 IALHA nationals and in 2007, was Reserve National Champ 3 and over PSP stallions. He is astounding us with his willingness under saddle and his movement and we hope will have a long and successful show and breeding career. His semen has shipped very well.

Gitano MOR

IALHA: 5595S

Codigo: 22EU304

Gitano Mor is our March 2000 pure spanish black/bay stallion, who we imported from the breeding farm of Abelardo Morales when he was a weanling. It is hard to decide what is most stunning about Gitano: His mop of mane and forelock, his rich, wet looking color, or his big bear temperament. His dam is a black Escalera mare and his sire, Corsario, a National Champion Stallion in Mexico. Revised.

Verified via UC Davis dna verification: EeAa

Gitano was

Wanapum

5/24/05

Pure spanish, inscribed son of 16.3 hand Competidor XIII who Ami MacHugh imported from Spain.

I fell in love with Compe the minute I saw his first photos and Ami allowed me to breed to him but the realization that I have 10 (count 'em 10!) Remate daughters led me to conclude that I wanted an outside stallion sooner than any babies would be ready to breed and my search led me to fall head over heels with Wan. His dam, Samba, is the dam of AmiÕs amazing Kianto and I am so familiar with what Samba, Kianto and Compe have consistently produced, that I have no doubt whatsoever that WanÕs babies with my mares will be exactly what I loveÐbig, dramatic movement and mostly kind. I brought Wan home in October and we will work with him to decide if we will be breeding him this springÑwith his mind, he appears to be one that can handle beginning a breeding career young. Huge bone and an eye that you can hardly help but drown in.
