Herculeo H
".a long road to a wonderful place ." With that, I mean the journey I have taken these past three, very quick, years! Almost four years ago I began a search for that perfect horse, that once in a life-time friend who at the end of the day reminds you to put life in perspective. Not really knowing what breed of horse I wanted, I did know that it had to be a breed which was noble and kind.My search began and after months of reading and researching I found the Andalusian. That was easy. Finding the perfect breeder was just as important as the breed itself. After being referred from one person to the next I somehow (miracles do happen) landed in the hands of Terri Meador and her wonderful Andalusians. After describing what I was looking for and my trepidation with buying a breed which I didn't know much about, Terri listened and educated me with all of her knowledge and insight. Several months later she invited me and my daughter to visit her in Texas to see a baby named Herculeo H. We made the trip from Maryland with reservation and excitement; after all, how good could this be? After our plane landed we quickly made our way to her breath-taking farm and immediately new that this was a place which resonated with love for the breed. Before seeing Herc, she presented me with two potential babies which were beautiful. Then, as though it were happening in slow motion, Herc was brought out of the barn and I knew it was the end of a journey. Today, Herc lives in Maryland on a beautiful farm and shares his field with his mate Leo. The first few weeks he was here the owner of the farm warned all the kids to stay away - he's a dangerous baby! How quickly Herc proved his kindness, gentleness and graciousness. The kids lead him in and out of his field as though he were a mature adult. Now under saddle with his trainer he continues his positive attitude towards work, life and people. Herc has been my rock when life has thrown curves and has reminded me that unconditional love does still exist and comes in many forms. I believe he was sent to me with a lesson - a lesson which I am just starting to learn! Terri, there are no words to thank you for your patience that you showed me during the entire process. You treated my daughter and me as if we were your only customers; and that is how you treat each of your horses - like they are your only ONE. My life has been enriched by the experience and I someday hope to see you again. You have left a mark on our lives with your love of the Andalusian and all that you have done to bring these incredible horses into the lives of many. Thank You! With love, Marlene Campini, Athena, and Herculeo H (Maryland) |

Coqueton I moved to the States beginning of 2000 and had a 'bad' start. I owned a 9yr. old gorgeous PRE mare in Germany which unfortunately did not pass the quarantine requirements for entering the US and I couldn't bring her with me. I had to sell her in Germany before I moved and she died three months later during a colic surgery... I was very sad and unhappy and all my friends told me to get another horse. It had to be an Andalusian again! That was for sure! In Germany it is not so hard to look around, there are many farms and Spain is not so far as well - but in the US...I did not have a clue how to find one and checked the Internet. All I've seen I didn't like. Outrageously expensive half breeds, poor quality, just sold, etc. etc. I was soo depressed, and at that time Cheryl Gibson answered me to a
note I put on the Internet that I was looking for a young horse with good
movements, good temperament and willigness to work. She told me about Coqueton
at Terri's place in Texas. Wow, Texas, I thought - that's pretty far from
Michigan... See, in Germany people call you 'nuts' if you drive more than
one hour to look at a horse! Well, I'm talking about Hanoverians and I
live about an hour from Hanover... I was very impressed with the farm and the first time I saw him I knew he was 'the one'. I looked at so many horses before but never got the kick or butterflies in my stomach before. And here he was, standing in his paddock, looking over like 'hey, who are you, where have you been, I was waiting for you!'. He came up to the fence and followed me around right away. The next morning I visited him in the barn and he didn't even get up, I kneeled down in his stall and petted his shoulder while he was laying there. He turned a little bit so I could reach his chest (his favorite spot!!!). I heard a noise and turned around. There was Terri standing at his stall door taking pictures. She said 'ok, that's it, seems like he waited just for you!' 6 weeks later he came up to Michigan and in spring of 2001 I went back to Germany. Of course Coqueton had to go with me, he became my best friend. He was so nice and calm on the flight over, it took us 42 hours from door to door and when we finally arrived at the barn in Germany he stepped out of the trailer, sighed and looked at me like "well, that was a long trip, I hope you don't want to do this every weekend". He went in his stall, checked the minibar, ate some hay, came up to the stall door and looked like "come on guys, go home and sleep, I'm fine, see you tomorrow." What a horse!!! He is always like that, I swear he can talk! When he turned 4, I started riding him, just went on his back and off we went. He never makes any problems, is always willing to work, loves to please his rider (well, I'm the only one riding him...) and wants to be with me all the time - and then not to forget his movements!!!. When we put up the christmas tree at the barn last year all the horses were nervous and scared about the chain saw. Coqueton stood about 6 ft away in his paddock and watched everything very closely. My friends in the barn laughed and said:"Well, we know who's putting up the tree next year..." He is such a clown! He turns 6 this year and does a lot of stuff already. Shoulder in, Travers, Renvers, half pass in all three gaits, half steps, flying lead changes every other step, levade, pesade, paso espanol. He is definitely the most talented horse I've trained and I can wait to see what he comes up next with, still full of surprises. I went to a clinic with Marc de Broissia last month and he said:" this one will do the spanish trot (passage with horizontal front leg) one day". Wow, what a compliment, I was and I am very proud of him and to find him was the best thing that ever happened to me!!! Thanks Terri! Go on and breed more such beautiful and gorgeous animals! Fogoso (Sweet Life Hermosa x Remate) "Fogoso is our perfect match He has become everything we were looking for. He still has a great even temperament, Chuck has started saddling him and sitting on him, and he does not even blink an eye. He was very good and listened while breeding and for a three year old that says a lot. Fogoso looks more like his daddy all the time. Not only has he turned out beautiful he is producing beautiful as well. We are so happy with him!" Connie Murdock and Chuck Davenport, Washington |

Honrado I wanted an Andalusian because of their reputation for gentleness, hardiness,
and lovely movement. I was very excited to visit Terri in the Summer of
2003 because she had 40 Andalusians on her farm and I felt sure that, after
viewing so many horses, I would come away with a good feeling for what
the breed was like. I was thrilled with the look of the horses that Terri
breeds.....so powerful and beautiful with their thick necks, short backs,
and massive bone. I was also delighted to see how affectionate and docile
they were....so fond of people. That is a very important quality to me.
I spent hours in the pasture with Terri's horses and was just overwhelmed
with how loving they were. Knowing that I wanted a very gentle colt, Terri
suggested that I should consider a colt by her stallion, Hereje, and she
also told me about the particularly gentle mares that were in foal by him.
My favorite mare was Sweet Life Hermosa, and happily she delivered a baby
boy on May 13, 2003 who is now my baby.....Salvador H (he was originally
named Honrado and can be viewed on Terri's website). I met Salvador (Salli)
when he was just two months old. He followed me around the field like a
puppy, and now at 9 months of age his temperament hasn't changed a bit.
He is gentle and loving and I just adore him. I work with Salli every day
on tasks that a baby horse needs to learn, and he is so cooperative and
responsive. He's also beautiful and so very sturdy and solid with beautiful
movement. I love to watch him trot and lift his feet so high in that lovely
Andalusian way. He's everything I hoped an Andalusian would be, and I'm
so grateful to have him. |

Freya Magic happens in different ways for different people. Some is bright and lightening quick, some calm and river quiet. I happen to prefer the lightening strike but that's not always how things happen. My magic took its time, two years to be precise. My route wasn't straight and I wound my way around looking at Hanoverians, Dutch Warmbloods and Friesians. The more I looked, the more I talked to people, the more I realized that none were what I wanted. What did I want? Well, hey, like many normal American woman, I wanted to compete internationally in Dressage, win lots of ribbons and be praised by others for my excellent riding. Of course when my brain settled back into my novice-dressage-getting-older body, I realized what I needed was intelligence, an even temperament, and a trot I could sit without being an invalid by 40. Hit by KISS (keep it simple stupid), I knew my best choice was an Andalusian which made finding my way to Terry inevitable. Her horses have fabulous bloodlines and fabulous personalities - a cornucopia of choices to fit any requirement. Mine was lots of hair and tall. Yes, I'm still rather shallow. Terry offered me the perfect match but I couldn't commit, so she sent more videos of more gorgeous babies. Overwhelmed, I flew from Michigan to Texas and spent a day seeing them up close and personal. After trying to bond with half a dozen young foals and feeling rather unloved, except by a hill of fire ants, I picked one whose mother was drop-dead gorgeous though without the hair and height. I went home feeling very happy but still rather unsure of my choice. I spent the next five months waiting for my baby and second guessing myself. Then the month before my chosen filly could travel, I did a total switch. I suddenly wanted the first filly that Terry had offered me (lots of hair and tall). Being the wonderful human being Terry is she said ok and in less than a week I had Freya. Guess what. She's my perfect match. Yep, magic is a tricky thing, but with Terry, you can't help finding it.
| Jaira II Dear Terri, I came across your web-site during an informative search on the Andalusian breed. I found your web-site very eye catching and user-friendly. I enjoyed breezing through the pages and learning not only about your family of horses and love of the breed, but most of all, your philosophy regarding the raising of your Andalusians horses. I love what you said about 'letting your horses be free and be animals, not worrying about messing up their manes and tails'. I believe exactly the same, and feel that a "horse should be a horse"! At any rate, I immediately knew that if Herradura had such a wonderful philosophy in regards to raising their horses, it was obvious that you loved and cared for your horses straight from the heart. Combined with such a wonderful background and knowledge of the Andalusian breed, I felt certain that you would not steer me wrong in the purchase of my perfect horse. Initially I was so unsure about all aspects of purchasing my first Andalusian, from "Is this the right breed for me?" to "What do I need to know about the transportation, caring for, and managing of my Andalusian mare?" I cannot thank you enough for being so willing to take the time to answer all my questions, or to direct me to the best place to find the answers. Your knowledge has been invaluable to me, always challenging me to further explore other aspects of the Andalusian breed. You have always shown a great interest in my progress with my "herd", and I have always appreciated your genuine interest. My mare, Jaira, was definately the perfect choice for me. I truely love Jaira dearly, and admire her, as well as this magnificent breed, more and more every day. With every addition to my little "herd", my little Andalusian "family", I just think back to the wonderful first experience that I had in puchasing my first Andalusian. Thank you for all of your guidance and assistance in getting me started in my first step toward the wonderful and magnificent world of the Andalusian breed! Sincerely, |

| Helada (Conesa x Hereje) Luis and Nancy Guzman purchased Helada in utero You should know that I can say now for certain that I bought Helada from you for three reasons -- you are a wonderful person who truly loves these magnificent horses, you were more than willing to work with me to make this great dream for me come true, and you have exquisite horses. I have Helada for all those reasons and not for one minute have I had any regrets. Thanks for everything. Nancy | |
| Fantasma & Flama Terri is the most gracious hostess, the most passionate horsewoman, and the most buyer-sensitive person I have met since beginning my search for that perfect Andalusian...I doubt anyone could ever go wrong buying from her. Plus the website is just incredible! She has been responsive and absolutely attentive to every question, offers sound advice, and her passion for these animals is truly infectious! I would encourage anyone with a longing for that perfect horse to contact Terri! Laurie Voss Telles |

| Pastelista Just wanted to write and tell everyone how happy I am with Pastelista,
a filly I purchased from Terri back in September. Buying from Terri is
a real joy. She really throws the welcome mat out when you visit her farm.
When I went out just to visit again last weekend I was again impresed with
her hospitality and at how happy her horses all seem to be! Looking forward
to the days ahead as a new Andalusian owner!!!! |

Honesta with her owners Sandy Seaman and daughters Courtney and Morgan and her Hereje son, Sincero. We were introduced to Terri and Andalusians by our riding instructor and barn owner when I was looking for a horse for my then 9 year old twin girls. As an adult who both loved and feared horses, my primary goal was to find a horse that I trusted with my girls. Never did I dare hope we could find a horse like Honesta. When we first laid eyes on her, Honesta took our breath away. She was absolutely gorgeous, but so tall! Then we discovered that she is the sweetest, kindest mare imaginable. It was love at first sight. My daughters would not leave without her. Everyone in Austin who meets her also wants to take her home. She has been called a "fairy tale princess," a "goddess" and a "miracle horse." As an extra bonus, Honesta is also a great mom. We brought her home bred to Terri's stallion, Hereje. In September she had an amazing colt that our trainer says could be a national champion some day. We can't thank Terri enough for our perfect match. Sandy

| Holcus Anybody who has met me, or spoken with me for five minutes will tell
you that I'm aggressive, loud, and zealous. Whether it is business, or
horses, I am extreme. Only a month after purchasing my first half andalusian
by accident, I found myself delving into the world of the andalusian on
the internet. Even though I was far from owning one, I openly admit that
I'm one of those pesky individuals that received videos from farms just
to see what horses they had and how they moved. But there was one farm
that I didn't request a video from...Herradura. Being within 10 miles from
it, I eventually made that stretch of Corbin road one of the places I frequented
in daily jogs. And after a series of events that forced me to sell that
first half andalusian, I made a commitment to someday own one of those
gorgeous horses on the other side of the fence. I didn't approach Terri about buying anything at first. I did convince her, over several months, to let me breed my champion half andalusian to Gitano. While I was there, Terri showed me several of her mares that were due to foal in the next few months. I wanted big, bold, beautiful, and more than anything else, the "one." To put it bluntly, I put all the pressure of recognizing that special soul completely on her. With her years in the industry, she took it all in stride. She showed several youngsters to me, none of whom struck me immediately. There was one filly that I tried to convince myself into buying, and she advised to hold off as I was not "struck" with her. Which is surprising since most sellers in a tough market would want to close the sale. Several months later, I received a copy of Horse Illustrated. Dadivoso's
brilliant head was on the cover, and my fate was sealed. That day I checked
the website, and saw that Dehesa had foaled a colt by Gitano. Being that
she is such a producer, I emailed Terri immediately and inquired about
him. Even though she was going on an international trip to Brazil the next
day, she made time to show him to me that night and I instantly knew he
was "the one." So kind, with a great eye and a coat like velvet,
Holcus immediately came to me. He was it, and I purchased him that night.

| Edita H "wanted to bring you up-to-date on Edita. She's amazing!!!! Everyone who sees Edita is impressed by her. She's an incredible riding experience and a joy to work with. Her attitude is a HUGE pleasure. Andalusians are an amazing breed as you well know. She's still very dark and is just starting to dapple. I can't say enough good things about her mind...she just takes everything in stride, thinks about things and doesn't over react, even to scarry experiences like Grouse and Turkeys flying out in front of her on hacks. She hacks out brilliantly, I can canter her out on the trail and bring her right back to a walk or trot with finger-tip control. She trusts me completely and we can walk by scarry things like plastic covered hay bales in long rows in the field with just a look at it while other, older more mature? horses are veering away, going sideways and acting silly. She impresses everyone. She's so light and responsive that when she comes together and is really working and using herself, it's like riding air! I can't tell you how happy I am with Edita and I can't begin to thank you enough for the privilege of owning such a wonderful horse. >Best wishes, | |

Generoso When we first visited Terri and Herradura Andalusians in early 2001, two things overwhelmed us. First, was Terri's hospitality. She met us with great enthusiasm and showed us the entire ranch from A to Z. While giving us the tour, we realized that Terri has a passion for her horses that is difficult to describe. It quickly became clear that she does not breed her Andalusians for fame or fortune, but rather for their love and beauty. She truly has a bond with every horse that can easily be seen. The other overwhelming factor was, of course, the magnificent horses. We were vaguely familiar with the Andalusian breed, but after spending just a short time with them, we quickly began to perceive their exquisiteness. And now, after spending a little more than a year looking for the right Andalusian, we believe that Herradura Andalusians offers something that we did not find elsewhere. That something is Terri's philosophy on breeding and training (please read Terri's Breeding Philosophy section of her website). Terri lets her horses be just that, horses. When we contacted Terri a few weeks ago to let her know that the time was right for us to get serious about ownership, she quickly responded and informed us of a colt that she believed might be a good match. Boy was she right. We immediately fell in love with Generoso. At first glance, we saw his father's, Dadivoso XIV, unmistakable face. And after spending a short while with him in the pasture, it was evident that this little guy also possesses Dadivoso's character and personality. The mare, Hermosa, is big and beautiful and is a wonderful mom. We are fortunate to live not far from Herradura and are able to visit Generoso often. He amazes us on each visit, and is becoming a very special part of our family. He truly is the perfect match for us. Thanks Terri. Tracy and Jason Thompson Allen, Texas

Centello H "I am just a happy little lark about my acquisitions. I will enclose some photos of the most beautiful guy in the world or at least my world and tomorrow I will take some pictures of Bonica for you, who is going to give us a little black/bay something next year. She is so dark, she looks almost black. She escaped from her corral today to go and visit her neighbors in the yard and had a lovely time. Centello is going to be going into an open reining futurity this summer yet and will show at the St. Johns show and Nationals.... Maja is going to do an exhibition at Nationals, some open cutting shows this summer and will become a mother in August this year..... Terri, I love all my children and none more then these. One of my friends said, you can really tell how somebody rates their kids, family, horses when the first pictures they get out is of their horses...............Luv ya lotz" Judy Fuller Carver Mountain Farm, Arizona

Corron H (with his human, Robin Chaney) "I have been looking for an andalusian for about six months now and have leads on a couple that at first brush looked good, but upon investigation would discover problems with them. One had splints and a split hoof. Another had bone spurs on both right hocks. I got quite good at determining from videos whether these were horses I wanted to pursue from the very first moments of the videos. Through the andalusian web ring I found Herradura Andalusians and the website was the first thing that impressed me. It gave a view of the farm and a sales list. The sales list gave not only a good quality picture of the horse, but also gave a great description provided by Terri. I e-mailed Terri and requested a video which she promptly provided. From the moment I put the video on, I knew this was the place I would find my horse. I was particularly interested in the two 2year old stallions she had that were half brothers. I made arrangements and flew out to Terri's. Corron took my breath away at first sight. Terri had told me that she like his half brother more as he appeared more needy and attentive while Corron was more independent and standoffish. But it was Corron who paid attention to every move I made. If I paid any attention to his brother, Coquetton, Corron would be right there to chase him off. I remember very clearly the moment I truly fell for Corron. I was in the round pen with him and everywhere I went, he would follow. I was eating an orange and he insisted on having a piece. Even though he could pick an piece of grass he wanted, he always wanted the pieces I picked for him. Even as he was grazing, I could feel his attention on me. I leaned down to pick some grass for him and he reached for the tassels of my jacket and tugged, playing with me. I turned to my husband and told him, "I love this horse." The decision was made. Corron had to be mine. I had been looking for a life time companion and friend and found him in Denton, Texas. " Robin Chaney

Diestro H (with his human, Ingrid Brammer) "One of my dreams has been to own an Andalusian. My 2 daughters and I all ride dressage and we currently own a wonderful horse who will be retiring in a few more years. I was not in a particular hurry so, I started my research on Andalusians about 6 months prior, to learn about the lines, breeding pairs and all other information in hopes to find the perfect one. My love for the breed started with their beauty and later the nobility and wonderful temperament that they possess. While on business in Europe I went to Spain to see some farms and further my research. I came in contact with Herradura Andalusians in December of 1999. Terri quickly sent me a video of her colts for sale. As I was looking for dressage movement, Diestro instantly stood out, with his tall, elegant, forward movement. I arranged to go and see him in February. During the two-month wait I watched the video almost every day, conversing through e-mail with Terri continuously. Arriving at the farm, I felt as if I knew Terri forever. I was impressed with her farm, her passion for the horses, the care and love she gives them. I was also impressed with the gentleness and temperaments of all her horses. Diestro was everything and more than I expected. He was a little shy and reserved, a true gentleman with fabulous confirmation and movement. That was it, he had to be mine! He arrived home in Canada in April of 2000. I am enjoying every moment watching him grow up to be noble and majestic stallion. " Ingrid Brammer
| Dadista "While passing through Dallas in August of 2000 I visited Terri and once again I fell in love, this time with a filly. I wasn't planning on looking for a filly for another year, however there was something about Dadista that drew me in. Her early greying beauty with gorgeous eyes, nice bone along with her inner peace, and very smart and willing temperament, not to mention her fabulous breeding made her the perfect match for me. She will be my personal riding horse and companion before she starts her career as a Mom. My dream of owning an Andalusian has now come true twice. Thank you Terri for making dreams come true." Escapado H & Opus TG I am a horse nut from day one, but I have only known about Andalusians for the last 4 years. How on earth I missed them for the other 40+ years I can't tell you, I must have been blind. I saw my first Andalusian in the traveling "Spanish Riding School" show in Lansing, Michigan. All the horses were Lipizzaners except this one horse who just transported me to the arena when he rode out about 1/2 way into the show...my first Andalusian...as far as I was concerned there was no one else in that entire building but myself and this magical horse. I barely breathed the entire time he was in the arena. His mane and forelock were long and wavy like a unicorn (as I imagined it), his tail long, his head exquisite and his eyes were huge and soft. He was so altheltic, I was amazed at what he could do. He was every fairy tale horse I had read about, every Unicorn I had "seen" in fairy tales or movies. And he was the VERY white horse who ran in the forest, beside the highway, every weekend on our long 5 hour drives up to northern Michigan in the summers. (I had a vivid imagination as a kid, but my dream horse was always white and always had a long long mane and tail blowing in the wind as he ran!!! Where did I get that?????) My first Andalusian, the catalyst....he is magnificent. I immediatly went home and hopped on the internet to find out more about Andalusians and to buy one. Little did I know they costs thousands of dollars. I was crestfallen. At that time I never dreamed I'd really own one, nor own one so utterly magnificent as Escapado H ...it is a dream come true. These magnificent horses have changed my life so completely, in many ways I can't even begin to tell you. I knew I would settle for no other breed after seeing this horse, I had to have one somehow. I met Andalusian people and then, 4 months later, after I rode a friend's Andalusian, I knew I'd never ride anything more WONDERFUL. I had no interest in any other horse at all now, I was, and am, hooked forever and ever. For two years I had a small color laser photo of one of Terri's colts Coqueton (who now lives in Germany with his owner Kathrin), as a tiny baby on my wall in front of my desk in my studio! It was a cute photo, he was about a month old and he had such pizzaz and looked like a little trojan horse! I wanted him so bad, he really moved me. But I did not have the $, it was a pipe dream to have a horse of such quality. I ended up buying a 2 year old gelding who was in dire need of major training and love, and he was in my price range. I had him for a year, but he was not turning out to be mine, our souls did not mingle. After a year's worth of intense in-hand work I sold him and he now resides in the lovely town of Port Townsend on the Puget Sound, the lucky horse!!! I got more than 2x what I paid for him and SUDDENLY I had enough $ for a small horse of Terri's!!! TO SAY I WAS EXCITED WOULD PUT IT MILDLY!!! I was horseless and on the prowl for a new one! I could hardly contain myself. I flew to Terri's with my best friend Cheryl on Valentines day (what a romantic time to pick out a dream horse!) for an eight day horse-heaven visit. I ended up choosing Escapado H at 4 weeks old, he really had the leg movement, the neck, the head, the large soft eye I desired, and the athletic movement I just loved to watch and couldn't wait to ride!!! He amazed me with his athletic ability, the turns, the power! I spent the rest of my visit with them in the stall and the fields, his mother Kibla is a wonderful mare, so stunningly beautiful. His sire Pintuero, is magnificent. I spent a lot of time with him also. I watched everything so I could see the temperment; he is a wonderful, calm and trusting Andalusian. I was able to see several live breedings with Pintuero, what a true gentelman, I was very impressed with his calm and kind attitude toward the mares. He was no wild stallion, leaping about like a nut case. You could have ridden him immediatly after a breeding. Truely a breed with tempermant like no other. I will admit I was very, very swayed by two older boys, Coqueton and Corron, while I was there. As older horses I could ride 2 years sooner, they were tempting, very tempting...but Escapado really, really touched me. All of Terri's horses are wonderful, it is like comparing the best to the best...not an easy task. There are no bad choices there! I was all over the farm, in all the fields with all the boys, babies and moms, by day and on moonlit nights, trying to decide. And boy did they snuggle and try to sway me!!! Such hams these Andalusians!! Coqueton and Corron really tried to get me to choose one of them, they were so cute, it was neat, they would mug me in the field, "pet me...no pet me!!!" ...they even "called" me out there late one warm night, in the full moon, to play with them, what a story book night that was, it could not have been a more beautiful evening. But I kept going back to Escapado's stall and watching him peek out at me from behind Kibla...I decided I was seriously hooked on his cute little face. I never in a million years thought I'd buy a baby that small!!!! Terri does so much with her babies, Escapado knows more at 6 months
than my first horse knew at 3 years old! I have no qualms about him being
a nice, well mannered boy, no wild man stuff. He has lived up to every
aspect of this to this day, my 15 year old daughter does things with him
and is never in any danger and he is still a colt (people are amazed)!
Escapado is truly MY Horse, he comes to me in the field the minute he sees me, stands with me whenever I am nearby, I brush him in his stall while he eats, we have started all sorts of lead line and TEAM work, we go on long walks down the road. (other people walk their dogs, I walk my horses!!!) it is all a DREAM COME TRUE! Now I also have another fabulous gelding of Terri's, Opus TG and he is a charmer. He sort of happened, can't say how. But here he is with us. Can I believe I have TWO Andalusians? No way....he is much different in personality, not quick to give his heart to me, but I am working on him! A quiet, peaceful boy, with a heart of gold. He has won the heart of all the kids at the barn, he is king of pets there, and he is tied to Escapado by a heart string. They are quite a pair as they rear to full height (wow) and paw at each other in the field during the day. It is like living in the wild west to watch them play. They are happy boys, and I am a happy HAPPY woman. Besides my family, these fabulous horses are the loves of my life! And jees, I haven't even RIDDEN them yet, imagine how nuts I will be THEN!!!!
